The Zoom MRS-1266 is a vintage, discontinued hardware digital multi-track recorder (MTR) produced by Zoom in the early 2000s. Designed as an all-in-one "home studio," it allows musicians to record, mix, and master songs without a computer. 
Key features include:
Tracks: 10 physical audio tracks for recording plus a dedicated stereo Master track for final mixdowns.
Simultaneous Recording: Allows up to 6 tracks to be recorded at the same time, making it highly useful for recording live bands or drum kits. 
Drum & Bass Machine: Includes built-in rhythm pads, hundreds of pre-programmed patterns, and customizable drum/bass sounds. 
Effects: Features 94 customizable digital effects and Zoom's Variable Architecture Modeling System (VAMS) for guitar amp modeling.
Storage & Drive: Originally equipped with a 20GB internal Hard Drive (HDD) and an optional CD-R/RW drive for burning finished albums or importing samples.
