The Peavey 16FX is a 16-channel mixer with built-in effects, designed for both live sound and project studio recording. It features exclusive Silencer mic preamps that deliver high gain with exceptionally low noise and distortion, ensuring clear and accurate signal reproduction.
Equipped with dual DSP engines, the 16FX allows multiple effects to be used simultaneously and assigned to channels via Aux 5/6 or DSP Engine 2. Onboard effects include reverb, delay, compression, de-esser, chorus, and gate/expander.
Dual USB ports enable direct digital audio streaming to a computer or memory device, with built-in MP3 compression for convenient recording and export.
Each channel includes four pre-fader auxiliary sends with four master aux controls, making it ideal for live monitor mixing, along with two post-fader auxiliary sends for adding internal or external effects.
